At the moment, there are only 6 registered members. I don't think we need moderators yet.

Those are good points, but because of low amount of people, he should take advantage of it so that he can easily assign moderators with little confusion, and little thinking. On the down side, with lots of moderators, that could cause a bunch of flame wars. Leading to kicking and banning each other.

I think that when the need presents itself for moderators, we will all become them, but at the moment, they are completely unnecessary.
